How Would I Even Know If My School District Boundaries Are Correct?
Thursday July 9, 2026 11:15am - 12:15pm EDT
Every school year around November, school districts receive emails from NYSED to review their school district boundaries, as part of the U.S. Census Bureau's School District Review Program (SDRP). For years, the presenter had no idea on how a school district would even tackle that assignment, especially not without access to GIS software. In this session, the presenter will discuss how he ultimately learned how to work on the SDRP project, and in turn, developed a prototype for every school district in the CNYRIC region to use.
