In an era of rapidly evolving AI tools, districts must ensure that data use remains purposeful, ethical, and centered on student learning. This session explores a human-driven, data-informed approach to decision-making, highlighting how tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Google NotebookLM can support educators in identifying trends, summarizing data, and generating instructional ideas using their own district resources. Building on the Student Data Principles, participants will examine how to responsibly integrate AI into existing systems while moving from data collection to meaningful instructional action.
